GETTING STARTED:
When pledging opens go to www.myapexevent.com and login using your child’s unique ACCESS CODE.
MAKE A DONATION:
Our Goal $5 per lap for a maximum of 36 laps.
Each lap is 1/16 of a mile.
Make a flat donation OR pledge a dollar amount per lap that your child completes at the event. Reported laps are capped at 36 max. If a student is absent or unable to participate, their laps completed will default to 30.
Every teacher gets 10% of what their class raises for their own classroom.
SHARE:
Use the “Share Wizard” tool to send a donation link via email, text, and social media to 10 family members and friends asking that they donate online to help our school.
RUN:
Parents will be able to come on campus to watch their children run. The OPE Jog-A-Thon will happen on Thursday, February 1st at 8:15am for Kinder through 2nd, at 9:15am for 3rd and 4th and at 10:15am for 5th and 6th grade.
EXPERIENCE:
This year we need your help raising funds to upgrade our school’s MPR (beyond District funding) for Grade Level Performances. Now that EUSD is also fully funding a Visual and Performing Arts Enrichment Teacher next year, we want to make sure your child’s performance experience is the best it can be – while giving you stellar home videos of course! We would also like to once again fund buses for Grade Level Experiences.
About Apex and our Fundraiser:
Funds from this fundraiser provide classroom and enrichment supplies as well as academic classroom support to ensure our kids and teachers have everything they need to succeed. Funds also make our community initiatives possible like the Ice Cream Social, Spooky Trail, Winter Wonderland, OPE Reads, Variety Show and the Aloha Party which strengthen our OPE community!
ABOUT APEX LEADERSHIP CO.
Apex is a two-week interactive leadership and character-building program combined with a fitness-focused event fundraiser to help schools raise much needed funds. The leadership program focuses on developing student self-control, decision making and interpersonal skills vital for school and life success. The quick, engaging lessons tie in with our school’s vision and mission, encourage students to create a positive environment, and inspire them to lead by example.
