The PTA at OPE
The OPE Parent/Teacher Association’s (PTA) mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. By becoming a member you are showing your support for your child and investing in their education.
What does the PTA do?
The PTA at OPE organizes and provides materials for a high percentage of school programs.
Our investors make it possible for us to provide back to school supplies allowing some teachers to only request a few items (specific size binders, headphones, scissors) or none at all from parents.
How does the PTA raise funding?
The PTA raises money through two fundraisers throughout the year; an annual PTA membership and Jog-A-Thon.
The PTA also raises funds to benefit the Media Center through The Fall Book Fair.
