What does the PTA do?

The PTA at OPE organizes and provides materials for a high percentage of school programs.

Our investors make it possible for us to provide back to school supplies allowing some teachers to only request a few items (specific size binders, headphones, scissors) or none at all from parents.

When does the PTA meet?

The PTA holds a monthly meeting listed on the calendar open to the school parent population.

How do I join?  What does my membership include?

How does the PTA raise funding?

The PTA raises money through two fundraisers throughout the year; an annual PTA membership and Jog-A-Thon.

The PTA also raises funds to benefit the Media Center through The Fall Book Fair.

While your involvement through volunteering is greatly appreciated and needed, your monetary participation does not require you to dedicate your time.

As a member of California State PTA, you promote children’s welfare, foster parent involvement in schools, and access exclusive membership perks!
