OPE Reflections

The 2023–2024 PTA Reflections art theme:  I am Hopeful Because…!

The 2023–2024 PTA Reflections art theme is I am Hopeful Because… and calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts.

Do you enjoy art, music, and dance or have an interest in writing, producing, films and taking photos? If so, please join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with the National PTA Reflections art contest!

The PTA Reflections art program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Artworks are submitted first to school-level PTAs. The winning artworks progress in each level and are then entered into the local PTA units, councils, districts, California State PTA and in the final National PTA judging round. The prizes in each level vary, but may include medallions, plaques, award certificates, onstage recognition at the PTA convention and the opportunity to showcase the artworks at the PTA events. All artworks will be returned to the students at the end of the year. Check out the winning artworks by OPE students last year here.

Students can submit their completed works of art in one or all the following six categories (4 winners per category): visual arts, photography, music composition, dance choreography, film production, and literature. Tip: most of our submissions are in the visual arts (chances of winning will be higher in other categories)

How To Enter:

Entrants must submit the following digitally to Annie Lee (opereflectionsart@gmail.com) or drop off at the OPE front office by October 19, 2023.
